A practical framework for seeing the development risks that a single technical-readiness number leaves invisible.
Why I built it
Diagnostic programmes do not succeed on science alone.
A diagnostic can be technically mature while remaining clinically unready, commercially unviable, poorly prepared for regulation or disconnected from the system in which it must be used. Those gaps are often discovered too late.
I developed DRL to make those parallel forms of readiness visible early enough to change decisions. It considers scientific and technical, clinical, regulatory and quality, commercial and market, and strategic and systemic dimensions together.
Current status
A working framework, now maintained in its own public home.
DRL v1.0 is practitioner-developed and has not yet undergone formal empirical validation. Its dedicated site holds the framework, downloadable resources, current research position and a route for feedback, testing and collaboration.
